"On it's way to take on the Audi TT"? You sir, are an idiot. Have you not seen the classic 5th Gear episode of the Z against the TT on a track? It destroys the TT and is "more fun to drive" than the "boring" TT.

Yeah, like someone else said it has to be the 7-Speed automatic from Infiniti. It makes sense since the G37 Coupe has the 7-Speed in it and it is based on the same body as the 350Z (370Z?). Besides the GT-R has a 6-Speed dual clutch transmission (check out any specification page for the GT-R) and it is setup as a rear transaxle. The 350Z (and 370Z) have the transmission place in the ""traditional" spot in the middle of the driveline.

How can it share the same trans in the GT-R if the GT-R has a 6speed dual clutch, and you mention here that its 7speed.

alot of the weight from the GT-R is from the dual clutch trans, SO, being a lighter car this time around, the 370z wont have the GT-R trans, because it wouldnt weigh what it does and get away with using such a peice.

If the 370z had a dual clutch it would be custom made for the 370z, a new design or a design based off of the GT-R trans, but not the same. this unit, if true could be from renault or borg warner.

because the 370z has less power than the GT-R, it will likly use a whle differnt design if anything.
