Hopefully Ford is not under the impression that employee pricing for ONE MONTH will solve anything except moving a couple of 2008's out of the way. Thats because employee pricing will then have to resume when the all new 2009 model arrives. Ford is just going to have to face facts that the #1 seller is not going to be a large gas guzzling truck anymore. If Ford wants that top spot back, they will have to bring in a modern day version of the Escort (that was #1 in its heyday).

Outside of being a fleet vehicle, not too many people (except those that need to tow boats and campers) are going to drop money on a truck when a smaller and more fuel efficient vehicle will commute them just as well.

It's a shift in times. Ford will do just fine if they keep bringing things like the Kuga and Fiesta stateside.

Civic, Corolla, Camry & Accord outsold it ... I wonder if that will keep up. This sale will more than likely push the Fseries back up above the Accord but there was a huge gap w/ the other 3 ...
