I agree justmatt, but at the same time it apears GM wasnt targeting the Jeep wrangler and off road 4x4 market (why? idk?) which is really stupid. They focused way too hard on getting the rich yuppie market and totally killed the original image of the Hum-V as one of the ultimate offroad vehicles.

... i thought they did focus groups and all sorts of market research on this kind of stuff?

GM just needs to decrease production of the Hummer H2 and start developing smaller more dedicated offroaders like the HX Concept, there is no need to discontinue the brand, not now.

I am never a fan of automakers killing off brands, but I am also no fan of letting them die on the vine either. Hummer is not a bad brand, but the reason GM only has large gas guzzling models for it is beyond me. Why GM has not made the Hummer brand a GM Jeep I do not know. Something Wrangler style and a curb weight under 5000 lbs would most likely benefit the brand. Hummer should represent tough off road prowess and not "screw you Greenpeace."
