Our friends at Fast Lane Daily happened to be hanging out in Death Valley and luckily spotted prototype for the Jaguar XF-R. Camouflaged as an XK and  S-Type, the cars were undergoing some brutal hot-weather testing.

Power for the Jaguar XF-R is expected to come from a 4.2 liter supercharged V8 engine that produces to produce close to 500-hp. However, FLD says it sounded more like V8 Vantage and the supercharger may be canned.
