As reported yesterday, Ford confirmed today that it will build the new Fiesta sedan at its Cuautitlan, Mexico plant starting 2010. But we have better news for all you hatchback fans; FoMoCo confirmed that it will add the hatchback version of the Fiesta lineup when it arrives in 2010.

Unfortunately, Ford did not say whether it will offer the three-door, five-door or both versions on the stateside. But some unofficial word from a Ford official at the plant said that the automaker will offer both versions alongside the sedan.

The Ford Fiesta will be priced under the larger Focus that starts at $15,000. Can we be greedy and ask for the Fiesta S too? Please?

Ford says that the plan will create 4,500 new jobs at the Cuautitlan, Mexico plant.
