We were ‘okay’ with Hyundai comparing the 2009 Genesis sedan to a BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus. We even let that whole Rolls-Royce and Lexicon sound system comparison thing slide. But implying that James Bond could one day replace his Aston Martin DBS with a Hyundai Genesis is just going overboard. It’s just pure blasphemy.

Check out this 2009 Hyundai Genesis promo that shows a fake 007, with a fake James Bond theme taking on crime in a Hyundai.

Nonetheless, the video does provide a very detailed look at the Genesis.

    It was already pure blasphemy when they had 007 driving a 7series in one of the Pierce Brosnan 007 flicks. So driving another sedan isn't really much worse.

    Would have made more sense for them to wait for the Genesis Coupe to start making psuedo 007 cinemercials.
