Ford Kuga gets best combiniation of safety ratings in Euro NCAP tests

The new 2009 Ford Kuga achieved the best combination of star ratings in the latest Euro NCAP safety tests placing the Kuga at the top of the Euro NCAP Small off-road 4×4 group. The small Ford SUV was awarded five stars for Adult Occupant Protection, four stars for Child Occupant Protection and three stars for Pedestrian Protection.

The Ford Kuga comes with an impressive range of safety features as standard on all models. Drivers are assisted in maintaining control and avoiding collision with the help of an anti-lock braking system electronic stability program with anti rollover mitigation, traction control system, emergency brake assist and trailer stability assist.

The 2009 Ford Kuga just hit European markets with a 2.0 liter Duratorq TDCi which produces 136 horsepower and allows for a combined fuel-economy of 37mpg and 36mpg with AWD.
