The 2009 Acura TL won’t make its debut until later this fall; however recent spy shots reveal the shape that Acura’s best-selling model is taking. Honestly, we don’t like it at all. Like Motor Trend points out, it looks as weird as the 2009 Nissan Maxima with similar proportions. The front end will carry the same milk-mustache grille as the new 2009 Acura TSX and the 2009 RL.

According to recent leaks, the 3.2 liter V6 will be replaced by a 3.5 liter in the current TL Type-S. The new 2009 TL Type-S will instead carry a 3.7 liter with 300-hp and all-wheel-drive.

Expect the 2009 Acura TL to debut at the LA Auto Show in November or the 2009 Detroit Auto Show early next year.
