Turbocharged 4-cylinder Chevrolet Camaro to become a reality?

About two months ago, Bob Lutz said that 2.0 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder Camaro may become a reality due to rising gas-prices and strict fuel-economy standards.
GMNext recently wrote that while pure muscle car enthusiasts frowned upon the idea of a 4-clyinder Camaro, others that the idea of a 4-cylinder turbocharged Camaro with gas prices now hitting $128 a barrel, would be a profitable and logical road to travel.
If the 4-clyinder Camaro becomes a reality, the engine would kick out 260-hp and 260lb-ft of torque.
Turbocharged engines are seen as the future way to maintain performance with better fuel-economy so we wouldn’t be surprised if GM offered a more affordable and toned down Camaro for the frugal and environmentally minded folks.
Other Camaro variants are expected to include the CTS’s 3.6 liter V6 that produces 304-hp. A 6.2 liter LS3 with at least 402-hp and a 550-hp supercharged 6.2 liter from the CTS-V are also expected.
