Last month we told you about the new Volkswagen Scirocco taking part in the 24-hour race at the Nurburgring held on May 24 and 25. Volkswagen has now released the first official image of the car that will be powered by a 2.0 liter TFSI engine producing 300-hp.

Two-time Le Mans winner Hans-Joachim Stuck and two-time World Rally Champion Carlos Sainz, will help be behind the wheels of the beastly Scirocco at the 24-hour race that will take place later this month.
