Florida calls for ban on fake ‘nuts’ hanging from vehicles
Florida Senate lawmakers have voted to ban the use of fake testicles that hang from the back of trailers and trucks of many vehicles. Republican Sen. Cary Baker called the ‘bumpernuts’ offensive and proposed the initial ban. If passed, drivers displaying ‘bumpernuts’ will be fined $60.
Some Senate lawmakers question whether the state should allow freedom of expression in vehicles accessories. Sen Jim King, a Jacksonville Republican had a pair of nuts hanging off his truck until his wife protested against the display.
“It’s probably not going to make it through the process,” Baker said. “It won’t be much of story in a few days.”

Politicians need to stop wasting OUR time on crap like this. It’s not their job to nanny our society for the sensitive. America is facing some large problems right now, and hanging nuts from bumpers aren’t even close to being one. There are much more pressing issues right now, seeing that we’re nearing bankruptcy and all.

This just shows how retarded Americans are. What kind of country do we live in that people think a pair of nuts hanging from your bumper is amusing, or appropriate, or makes you more of a man? Yeah, we’ve got big problems in this country, all right, and if these morons put as much time and energy and money into developing solutions for them, instead of moronic crap like this, we’d all be better off.
I have to agree with Brian M. If politicians would stop wasting time with BS like this, MAYBE they could actually solve some of our more pressing issues, oh I don’t know, maybe like, feeding the hungry IN THE USA, the war, being poor IN THE USA, health care, gas prices, global warming, the economy, just off the top of my head. As for the fake nuts themselves—ARE WE REALLY THAT SENSITIVE people??? I mean really, if you know what they are–you should not be shocked at all & if you are please just look away, & if you don’t know what they are, then who really cares???
