We’re huge fans of the Honda Fit here at eGMCarTech. Every time someone asks us what compact car they should by, we always recommend to get behind the wheel of the Fit for a test drive. The car is small but big enough to fit 4-5 passengers pretty comfortably.
But what if you wanted to fit in more than 5 passengers. We’re talking somewhere along the lines of 8-passengers. If Le Auto Blog is right, Honda is thinking something along the same lines and is planning a 8-seater based on the Honda Fit called the Freed.
Power is supposed to come from a 1.5-liter 4-clyinder engine producing 118 horsepower mated to a CVT transmission. Anyone from Honda reading this, give us your 2 cents in the comments section below.

Well I guess this isn’t such a bad idea after since you want to haul more people without worrying about the gas crunch. I own a Fit & it does great on gas for a non-hybrid car. I guess this kinda solves some issues.

This is why they have the Odyssey… but i think thats just a 7 seater. 118hp? lol! Power was one of the main issues with the first Odyssey, thats why they whent up to a V6. Maybe they can make it a hybrid and use the torque from the electric motors.
…most egine to passanger ratios are 1passange = 1cylinder. untill you get into the 8+
