Geely to unveil GT Concept at 2008 Auto China Show

Geely has released the first images of its new Geely GT, also known as the Geely Tiger. The Chinese automaker announced last week that it will be bringing 23 models to the auto show to be held on April 20 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.
Along with the new GT Concept, Geely will show the TG-1, A3, LG-3, FC-3 and others. “The year 2008 holds great significance for Geely’s Internationalization, strategic transform and overall elevation of the competitiveness of Geely Brand.”
The Geely GT will be the headliner at the Geely display and the company is describing the 4.9 meter long concept to a ’small Rolls-Royce’, and is comparing it to the Lotus Elise.
Geely says the different logo on the hood of the GT symbolized the future of high-end models from the automaker, kind of like they Hyundai/Genesis thing.
