Actually many bimmer enthusiasts like myself have been wanting to see the return of smaller, sportier cars. The newer 3 series are a joke, they're like nissan altimas, huge, and bulky, the new m3 is a v8.

How is that sporty?! This is why I love this new trend, more power out of a smaller engine = win.

I mean Honda is beating out BMW, the s2000 is a 4 cylinder monster that kicks the ass of the m3.

It isnt the amount of cylinders, kids, it's the displacement and engineering.

So happy that they finally start to understand!!

M3 buyers (and others) own the rest of us big time, since they abuse our environment for their egoistic pleasure and poison us and our kids every day by every step on the throttle.

It has to stop finally! I'am a car freak pure sang: but please provide me in 2010 a 2liter bi-turbo of 250hp with a DKG transmission, lower weigth, direct injected, full VANOS in and outlet part, valve lift, high compression and when possible variable compression. It may cost what the M3 currently cost, I'll buy it immediately. And most probably, the circuit times will not suffer from it either.

I realised just recently, it's joke, putting more an bigger exhaust pipes on your car to prove potency. It will chance very fast now.

This is becoming a joke - BMW M Power Drivers do not care about fuel efficiency - if you do, don't buy the car, simple.

I have just purchased a new M3, and the V8 is stunning. I have a friend who has a M5, and the V10 just as amazing.
