HKS take the 2008 Mitsubushi Lancer EVO X to 382-hp

You would think that the 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 295 horsepower would be enough for the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X. But HKS felt they could do a little more with the new EVO and ended up giving it an additional 81-hp.

The HKS engine pack adds an uprated turbo, upgraded intake manifold and a modified ECU. All that gives the new Lancer EVO X a total of 376-hp and a torque of 354 lb-ft of torque.

Performance is enhanced by a chassis upgrade kit with new suspension parts and a lower ride height. The styling package includes an aerodynamic bodykit along with carbon fiber mirror caps, hood scoop, side protectors, a new front apron and 19-inch Advan Racing RZ allow wheels.

The title of the article says 382 hp, may want to fix that.

Its sad, however, that the current gen Evo is actually slower than its last counterpart. I’ve seen a few videos from Japan when they stacked the old Evo, new Evo, old WRX and new WRX against each other. The new WRX won, where as the Evo 9 actually took second. The Evo 10 took a distance third.
