World’s tallest man gets custom built Chevy minivan

The world’s tallest man received a custom built Chevrolet Tacuma on Monday from Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko. Yuschenko handed over the keys to Leonid Stadnyk who stands at 8.5 feet. The Chevrolet Tacuma was manually built by a design team of Ukraine’s ZAZ automotive factory in Zaporizhia.
Stadnyk, who suffers from growth disorder ever since undergoing brain surgery at the age of 12, had written to Yushchenko for help since no cars on the market were big enough for him.
“In this car I will be able to drive more and to travel more, as I very much enjoy travelling,” Stadnyk told reporters. Stadnyk, who is now 36, was recognized by the Guinness organization as the world’s tallest man in 2007.
