Hennessey gives Dodge Challenger SRT8 725hp

Hennessey Performance has declared themselves as the very first tuners to get their hands on the new 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 offering unique power kit called the SRT700 and will be available to 25 clients for the 2008 model year.
The Challenger SRT8s 6.1L HEMI V8 gets number of upgrades including a enlarged displacement to 7.0-liters. Other upgrades include a custom 67 mm turbocharger with a front mounted air-to-air intercooler, stainless steel dual 3 in. exhaust system, high flow cylinder heads and an upgraded engine management system.
Power is increased to 725-hp with a peak torque of 750 lb-ft. The 0-60 sprint is expected to come in at 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 190mph.
