2009 Honda Fit coming to the NY Auto Show

The 2009 Honda Fit is ready to make its U.S. debut at the 2008 New York Auto Show next month.

“The current Fit has been a tremendous success for Honda with its spacious, versatile interior and a wealth of standard features in a compact, fuel-efficient and affordable package,” said Honda’s Dick Colliver. “The all-new Honda Fit will reconfirm that small can in fact be big.”

The Japanese folks already got their new Fit at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show. The new Honda Fit is powered by a 1.3-liter i-VTEC engine that produces 98 horsepower and a 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine producing 118 horsepower. We will most likely get the 1.5 liter version on the stateside.

Honda will also bring its fugly Pilot concept and the FCX Clarity to New York. Acura will show the new TSX and the new RL.
