12.7 million viewers tuned into watch the new KITT

While many of you didn’t like the new Knight Rider movie much, according to Nielsen Media Research the 2-hour special event averaged 12.7 million viewers. The agency said that despite the NBA All-Star game, viewers from the 18-49-year-old demographic tuned into watch the new KITT.
Becoming the most popular show to run its time slot, Knight Rider gained more viewers during the second hour of the show, where David Hasselhoff made a cameo towards the end of the movie.
If you missed the show and still care to catch it, NBC will rerun the 2-hour special this Saturday. Make sure you tune in, if you care that is.
