2011 Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger to get facelift

While the new fuel-economy regulations are making other auto makers think twice about continuing their rear-wheel-drive plans, Chrysler is keeping its RWD LX platform around for the next-generation Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger.

According to a report by TheCarConnection.com, Chrysler has big plans for the 300 and Charger including a major facelift for the 2011 model year. TCC insiders say that while big updates are planned for the HEMI engine Chrysler has no money set aside to make the switch over to front-wheel-drive.

The cars will arrive in 2010 as a 2011 model year with bold styling, row roofline and a more updated interior.

Its very old. 12 plus years if I am not mistaken. They need to just merge with Nissan and get it over with.

Dodge and Chrysler are afterthougths in the automotive landscape. I forget they are around until my eyes are insulted (some poor moron buys this product) by a new Sebring, Charger, or the station wagon (what was it called… Oh thats right, they stopped building it.

The look was cool for about six months if that. . Then there cars seemed to become bulbous and there designs quite dated. .
