Ya, they'll definately sell the first few for rarity. . The automotive realm is fast pace and automakers really have to hit the market niche just right to earn anything. . I think these cars will be for the lower income people, just because of their depreciating values unlike say a Prius or a car with marked claim.

I think they will sell the first few thousand units, then the sales will taper off, just like with the GTO. Lets face it, this is a different world from even just 10 years ago. Especially in the automotive world. The only people talking about them are die hard muscle car fans, of which are few in number compared to the proportion of drivers who absolutely hate the crap american automakers try and make us eat.

Second, Mary, I do not know what eGMcartechs policy is on linking to your site, but I know its in poor taste.

I think the new Dodge Challengers will be a big hit. I think that many older people will want to go back to their teen years by buying the Challenger. As for the gas mileage, I don't think it will be that big of an issue to somebody REALLY wanting this hip new/old muscle car. I'm also looking forward to the new Chevy Camaro to come out. I think it will be a big hit too. Since it debuted in Transformers, people can't stop talking about how they want one.

well the big three are just scrambling to find their niche, muscle cars were a big hit in the 60's and 70's but this is the 21st century now since the awareness of global warming i don't think that the big three can pull it off considering that the "Baby boomers" what caused the economic boom in america are againg and retiring and after their gone who's wanna buy muscle cars except for maybe a few of gen x buyers. young buyers today are more aware of what the effect of fuel efficient/hybrids cars have on the enviroment and for some reason Chrysler, Ford, and GM
( with exceptions with the hybrid models they offer) can't seem to find a hit the way Toyota has.
