2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8

After all the waiting, the Dodge Challenger SRT8 finally made its debut today at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show. We posted the official press release at 1am in the morning with a couple of pictures. Now a video showing the Challenger SRT8 in action has hit the web along with more images from Chrysler.

The Dodge Challenger SRT8 is powered by a 6.1 liter HEMI V8 engine that produces 425 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque.

    God I hope the sound was off for this video.. I was expecting so much from this car. Frankly that V8 doesn’t sound as exciting as I was hoping it would be. But I got to admit it does look disgustingly cool in black.
