What are you guys smoking? "Totally new interior"?? Visit the RL gallery on the Acura website and you'll see that it's 98% the same. Exterior has minor tweaks as well...new grill, new tail lights, new front and rear facia...and maybe deck lid. All in all a VERY disappointing update.

We've had a couple of RLs in our family and they're nice cars, but Acura just seem lost. They need a "clean sheet of paper" redesign as well as little marketing/product direction to decide what they want to be when they grow up.

Agreed the latest MDX is great, but the rest of the line up is a bit adrift.

Woah! It looks like a new Sebring and an Accord mated. . Only 300 hp for the flagship sedan. . Someone is still stuck in the '90s. . Oh well, Acura just needs to die.

At first I was put off by the interior, but on closer inspection I said "wow." It actually looks really nice. I was almost ready to say a Sonata was nicer, but then when I clicked for bigger pictures and I could see the wood grain and the texture of the materials, its definitely a step ahead (as a luxury car should be).

On the other hand, a 3.7L V6 that churns out 300hp? Everyone else uses a 3.5 for that, and an Infiniti G35 is nicer still plus has a 300hp 3.5, RWD, and soon a 3.7 Liter that will have 330 hp. The extra torque (if indeed there is) from the Acura won't outpace the extra power of the new G35, and in day to day driving, the G35 already has enough torque to move along well enough.

I still predict this car to be for older drivers with no sense of purpose. Its for old luxury people, but they can buy a Camry, Sonata, or now an Accord to get all the same types of luxury they'd buy this for (smooth ride, higher mileage and smooth powertrain, and wood and leather) for a lot less money.
