I like Leno and Seinfield as comedic artists. . However, I just revel in the delightful puns, charm, and fun skits that the British cast has to offer. . Oh Clarkson, lololol. .

Why fix it if it’s not broken?
The Clarkson, Hammond, May mix of presentation is dynamic and unique to the show. Let them reign supreme in a role that they’re already filling admirably.

I think this is a poor idea. Leno is cool and all, but he should stick to comedy. Seinfeld would be worse.

Part of what makes Top Gear great is their ability to make fun of themselves and be proud of design competition cars that are nothing but laughable. Leno and Seinfeld would have trouble replicating that humor, and would ruin the reputation that the british Top Gear has. I will watch it, but i wont expect much more than corny jokes, porsche bias (seinfeld mostly), and a couple burnouts.

Leno has some good cars, but he is too much of a Cadillac type guy. Cadillac makes absolutely horrible cars, and I can just here Leno calling the new CTS a great car when everyone else knows its a dud.

They need Leno, Seinfeld, and Csaba Csere though, I agree. As for drivers, so long as its not a NASCAR driver the role will at least have credibility.

As long as they don’t do corny joke after corny joke it should be good- its well known that Leno is a car connoisseur- it could work!

Please do it NBC!! Leno & Seinfeld would make the show great!! They both are car guys, with great wit and humor. The show would be a huge success. Add Csaba Csere, who’s the current editor of Car & Driver and a frequent guest on CNBC or the Host of Motor Week on PBS, both would bring more automotive credibility and your 3 hosts are SET!!! (I’d make a great consultant for the automotive product.. lol) As for the Stig role, there’s so many talented retired drivers to choose from.
