You state "the explanation of consumers concern with safety and quality explains why Audi is at the bottom of the barrel." If safety is a top priority, Audi should be at the top. All 3 cars rated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (A3, A4, and A6) are rated as top safety picks. The number of errors on basic, easy to research facts on Audi in basically all automotive journals is disappointing. The problem with Audi is the lack of knowledge by reporters. Acura does not have a single RWD vehicle, it has no history of Motorsports (sans some drift racing maybe), and is as well styled as a 2002 Cadillac Deville. In other words, its a grandpa's car. I know many luxury car buyers, I am one myself, and the purpose in buying an Acura is to show that you have given up on life.
