Mulally: New Ford Taurus sedan next year

Finally, FoMoCo has realized that rebadging the Five Hundred as the Taurus doesn’t mean they created a new Taurus, and will introduce a new redesigned model next year.

“The new Taurus is the one we should have made originally,” he said during a speech at the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit.

Mulally also said that Ford’s success will come from offering a full range of products globally and unifying its products worldwide. The Ford Focus in U.S. will eventually become the same size as its European version.
