If all you care about is the 620 horsepower engine, you can probably wait until this summer to buy a Corvette ZR1 for $100k. But Dave Ressler wants all the bragging rights to own the first production ZR1 and cashed out $1 million for it today at the 37th Annual Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale. To make it a little more special, Ressler will be getting the Le Mans blue version that no one else in the world will be able to get.
The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will only be available with two options when it hits dealerships this summer. Buyers will be able to opt for chrome wheels or a “luxury”.
