Acura i-DTEC Clean Diesel Engine

Honda announced yesterday that Acura will be offering a i-DTEC clean diesel engine in the North American market in 2009. The i-DTEC engine reduces harmful noxious exhaust emissions while boosting power and fuel efficiency. Now all Acura needs is a hot car to the i-DTEC in.

The Honda i-DTEC engine meets the ultra-strict U.S. EPA Tier II Bin 5 emission standards without on-board storage of urea.
