Mitsubishi has released pricing for the 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution X GSR. While the range-topping MR model is expected to start at $39,000 the GSR model officially starts at $32,990.

The new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR and MR are both powered by a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder 16-valve DOHC MIVEC engine that produces 295 horsepower and 300 ft-lbs. of torque. The GSR model comes with a five-speed manual transmission while the MR model will have the new Twin Clutch-Sequential Sportshift Transmission.

Option Packages include a Sight, Sound, and Spoiler Package starting at $2,000 and an Accessory Navigation Package (comes with a 30GB HDD Navigation w/ Digital Music Server & CD/DVD Capability) starting at $1,999. To make your GSR look more aggressive, you can opt for an Accessory Aero Kit (Front Airdam, Side Air Dam, Rear Airdam, Brake Air Guides, Rear Spoiler Extension) for $1,999. For the inside an Accessory Interior Sport Package is available for $399.
