Kia has launched its new 7-seater SUV to the Korean market. Kia is hoping to sell 48,000 units of the Mohave, or Borrego as it will be called in the U.S., worldwide with 18,000 allocated to the South Korean market and 30,000 for overseas. The 7-seater Kia Borrego will be made in Korea and will go on sale in North America in late spring or early summer of 2008 as a 2009 model.
The Kia Borrego will be build with body-on-frame construction using the latest NVH engineering technology. The 7-seater from Kia will come standard with a V6 and an optional offering of a V8.
