The lucky guys over at Edmunds had the chance to get behind the wheels of the new Nissan GT-R. As Nissan has said 0-60 in the 473 horsepower Godzilla takes a mere 3.5 seconds but the boys at Inside Line claim to have done it quicker. In their test the Nissan GT-R hit 0-60 in 3.3 seconds, making it faster than the Dodge Viper, Corvette Z06 and the Porsche 911 Turbo.
Pushing it to the edge, Inside Line did a quarter mile in the GT-R in 11.6 seconds at 129mph. The tests were performed in Japan on an airstripe outside of Tokyo in a JDM spec GT-R that produced “at least 473 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque.”
