I bought a brand new Pontiac Torrent in June 2006 and I'm not surprised they are discontinuing the model. It has the worst turning radius EVER! It's impossible to make even a simple U-turn. I've also had both vanity mirror covers break off (plasti and very flimsy) and even the piece that holds the seatbelt in the backseat (also plastic) broke off. The car is barely 3 years old and I'm trading it in! Not a surprise GM is going bankrupt with the quality they have been putting out lately. We have a 2001 GMC Envoy that still runs great & no pieces have broken off.
