Buick Riviera Concept

Buick will use the Detroit Auto Show for the U.S. debut of its Buick Riviera gull-wing concept. The concept, which made its debut at the 2007 Shanghai Auto Show earlier this year, was developed as a joint venture between GM and Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC).

While there are no plans to build the concept, GM says that the Buick Riviera “showcases Buick’s new global design direction.” The Riviera has also been engineered to accommodate a new hybrid system that will go into production at Shanghai GM, GM’s flagship joint venture with SAIC, in 2008. The next-generation LaCrosse will be inspired by the Riviera as well.

omg they really need to bring the riviera back, It should have never left. I always had toros and rivs then gm killed them both . now I drive a solara, why because gm does not make a decent coupe unless you want to drive around in a g6 or fugly monte carlo. STOP MAKING SUV CLONES FOR BUICK.
