Hyundai has revealed its Genesis emblem (click through for the image), a logo that will be used only for the Korean and Chinese markets.

More importantly Hyundai also confirmed the rumor of a V8 engine saying there will indeed be a top-of-the-line V8 engine that produces 375 horsepower and is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 3.3 liter V6 will start off the lineup with a 3.8 liter V6 coming in the middle.

There is now word whether the emblem will be only on the premium Genesis sedan or on both the sedan and the Genesis Coupe. Check out leaked images of the Hyundai Genesis Sedan and images of the Concept Genesis Coupe from the LA Auto Show.
