Accordng to the folks over at Autoweek, Ferrari is considering a V8 for the successor of its Enzo supercar that is due out in 2012.
Ferrari GT technical director, Roberto Fedeli says that Ferrari is considering both a V12 and V8 option for its Enzo successor. The current Enzo is powered by a V12 engine.
“For us, it’s not just a question of power. We have to choose whether we maintain the shape of the weight-to-power curve of the Enzo with more power or with less weight,” Fedeli said.”
We’re guessing this all a move to stay more fuel-efficient, even it’s by 2-4 mpg.
