While riding his quad in the UAE desert, loyal WCF reader came across a pair of BMW X6 prototypes undergoing testing. After seeing the two BMW X6’s in action Talal says, “The cars were running very nicely. I myself have an X5 and it doesn’t perform as good as I saw the X6’s perform in the sand.”

When the production version hits dealers in mid-2008, expect engine sizes to be similar to the BMW X5 with a 3.0 liter petrol and diesel, as well as a 4.8 liter V8 355 horsepower range topper.
