Boy are we glad we read this article from Automotive News. In an article about Toyota’s support for not setting a speed limit on Germany’s Autobahn, Automotive News reported that Toyota will indeed be introducing a next-generation or replacement to the Celica in Europe.
The sports car, which stopped sales in 2005, is expected to hit the European market in 2009. The Toyota Celica will be part of Toyota’s push to introduce sportier models in its lineup besides the Lexus IS-F.
We’re pretty sure that the car will make its way to the U.S. as well.
