Vector returns, bringing an iconic American Supercar back to the table

Remember Vector, the American Supercar that did battle with the Lamborghini’s and other exotics of its day? No? Well go out and rent ‘Rising Sun’ the Wesley Snipes/Sean Connery flick where a main character fakes his death by crashing his uniquely American Supercar (yes we’re giving away a major plot twist).

Since the time that the Vector W12 flashed onto the big screen not much has happened… until now. Having reacquired the assets of Vector, the founder and designer, Gerard Wiegart brings you the WX8, apparently powered by a massaged 600-hp 7.0L Z06 motor, with an optional supercharged 750-hp version.

Vector claims that with a potential of an excess of 1200-hp this car could hit 260-270mph, faster than a Veyron or the Shelby supercar that dethroned. Don’t worry we know this is really ugly, but this is supposedly just a prototype.
