German tuner ABT will be unveiling the new Volkswagen Tiguan SUV at the Essen Motor Show next month. The Tiguan gets an aggressive bodykit, wheels and an upgrade in performance.
The 1.4 liter TSI Tiguan gets a 33 percent power increase from 150 to 200 horsepower. The 2.0 liter turbodiesel on the other hand gets an increase to 170 horsepower. Buyers who are hungry for more power can go for the ABT Power S turbo option that gives the 2.0 liter turbodiesel an increase to 200 horsepower.
Exterior customization includes a new two-toned bodykit with a new front and rear spoilers, new side skirts and a new grille. The new wheel arches also give the Tiguan a more aggressive look. Alloy wheels are available ranging from 18 to 20 inch rims.
