Its official launch is still months away, but one has already been sold on eBay for $175,407. We’re talking about the all new 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT which will be unveiled at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show in February.

According to Automotive News, Dodge will only have a 5,000-car limited run for the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT. The Dodge Challenger SRT is powered by a 6.1-liter HEMI V8 engine, and a five-speed automatic transmission with Autostick.

For the 2009 model year, Dodge will add a 5.7 liter HEMI version that will be unveiled at the 2008 New York Auto Show. Production output for this version is expected to be around 30,000 to 35,000 units.
