Company sources have told Automotive News that Audi will be bringing its baby SUV, the Audi Q5, to the LA Auto Show in November. Originally, we had expected the car to make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 2008.

The Audi Q5 is Audi’s second SUV and is based on the new Audi A4. Audi is expected to begin selling the Q5 in the U.S. early next year followed by Europe next summer.

The baby SUV will go head-to-head with the BMW X3 and the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLK.

We’ll be there at the LA Auto Show press days starting November 14th.
