Tokyo Auto Show: Honda gives the S2000, Type S treatment

Honda has announced the S2000 Type S, which will make its official debut at the Tokyo Motor Show starting tomorrow. The car is really, our pride and joy, the S2000 CR version for the Japanese folks. Honda just badged the car Type S.
The Honda S2000 Type S is powered by the same 2.3 liter 4-cylinder DOHC engine as every other S2000. Power output is 237 horsepower along with 162 lb-ft. of torque. Like the S2000, the Type S comes with standard with an aerodynamic body kit and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Pricing for the Honda S2000 Type S begins at 3,800,000 Yen and Honda hopes to sell 100 units per month.
