I love VW’s. I hate VW’s. I make this statement as a long time VW owner. I love their style, finish, practical performance and long term durability. I hate their lack of initial quality and the high cost of parts and repairs. Have you seen how much it costs to get an oil change on a TDi- the result of poor accessibility to the drain plug? VW’s problem is not their initial price or plethora of features- it is the fact that the cost of upkeep and the frequency to small breakages make the car a nuisance. VW- Listen to your customers if you expect them to come back or if you want to attract new ones. My complaints are the same that I’ve heard from others for years!VW is one of the few cars where it is a good idea to actually buy an extended warranty. Does that tell you something?If you don’t make changes my next car will likely be the new Honda Accord Diesel
