Wonderful news comes this morning from UK. Bentley sources have confirmed that the company is building a Arnage prototype with Bugatti Veyron’s W16 987 horsepower engine.
AutoCar reports that Franz-Josef Paefgen, head of Bentley and also the president of Bugatti, is pushing the project with full force. However, it is still vague whether this is just an experiment or whether a Bentley with 987 horsepower will hit the roads in the near future.
The current Bentley Arnage is powered by a 6.75 liter engine that produces 500 horsepower. The Flying Spur W12 produces 552 horspeower.
The Bentley Arnage is going in for a redesign in 2010.
