Two forum members over at 1Addicts have said that they’ve seen this BMW 1-Series driving on the 210 in LA. The BMW 1-Series doesn’t arrive in dealerships until April of 2008 along with its convertible friend. Most likely this 1-Seires isn’t own by anyone yet and is probably just a dealer preview car.

The BMW 1-Series convertible will come in the same variants as the coupe. The 128i will be powered by a 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine producing 230 horsepower. The 135i will be powered by BMW’s twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower.
