Lexus IS-F coming to the U.S. in February

“The thing we are lacking in the United States is the emotional offering,” Lexus chief Takeshi Yoshida said at a media event. “We hope this car achieves it.” Couldn’t have said it better ourselves Lexus.

Toyota’s respected luxury division just announced their answer the BMW’s M and Mercedes-Benz’s AMG family last week. The Lexus IS-F which goes on sale in Japan on December 25th will start at 7.66 million ($65,742). But at a recent even Yoshida spilled the beans on the IS-F for America.

While he didn’t reveal the exact U.S. pricing, Yoshida said that the Lexus IS-F will be arriving in the United States and Europe in late February or early March. Globally, Lexus hopes to sell 7,000 units next year, 5,500 of those are estimated to come from the U.S.

Powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine, the rear-wheel-drive Lexus IS-F produces 417 horsepower and 371 lb-ft of torque.
