Spies have caught what seems to be the 2009 Acura TSX testing outside of Honda’s U.S. facilities. From the pictures it seems like the 2009 Acura TSX will take major design cues from the SPORTS 4 concept car shown at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show.

The 2009 Acura TSX is expected to get a 20-30 horsepower increase with an improved improved 2.4L i-VTEC 4 cylinder engine. A Type-S model is also expected with a turbocharged engine produces 260 horsepower. Sound good huh?  Well Acura will still keep the boring front-wheel-drive. The Type S model is expceted to be matted with a 6 speed auto/manual DSG style gearbox. It is also expected to have Honda’s Super Handling All Wheel Drive system. The 2009 Acura TSX is expected to enter production at the end of 2008.
