Video: First Chevy Volt Commercial

Here it is – the first Chevrolet Volt commercial. Even thought it doesn’t hit the roads for another three years, GM is continuing to market the Volt at auto shows, billboards and now video advertising.

GM hopes to have the Volt running and testing by Spring of 2008. According to sources in Detroit, GM may be planning on building 60,000 Chevrolet Volts for the car”s first year run. That is four times the sales of the Toyota Prius when it made its U.S. debut.

By the way, that’s the guy from the WaMu commercials. He’s supposedly the symbol for the ‘right’ way of doin things

Isnt this false advertising or something? How can they advertise this when the car hasnt/cant be made yet. Chevy always gets it wrong by releasing concepts that flop and technologies they cant deliver such as this. Their marketing and R&D need to get together and get on the same track, maybe keep things on the DL a little longer and stop trying to save the company from going under with bogus ads and broken promises and bad cars (with exception to a few)
