Infiniti G37 to get all-wheel-drive

Customers and dealers have been begging Infiniti to add an all-wheel-drive G37 coupe to the lineup. According to InsideLine, the folks over at Nissan just might listen and a G37 coupe with all-wheel-drive may be just around the corner.

While Nissan hasn’t confirmed any timing as of yet, the current addition of an all-wheel-drive system on the new 2008 M4 and with the 2008 G35 getting the ‘X’ badge early next year, its only a matter of time the G37 hits the road with all-wheel-drive.

“Dealers and customers have asked about it “” and I understand it’s reasonable to expect it may happen, but nothing has been finalized, no timing decided,” Tim Gallagher, senior manager for product launch strategy and corporate communications, told InsideLine.

Of course, it would be wise for Infiniti to add all-wheel-drive on the G37 coupe as soon as possible since the 2008 Audi S5 Quattro and the 335xi coupe already on the market.
