Driver admits speeding at 172 mph in his Porsche 911 Turbo

While 33-year old Tim Brady may be under some heat from authorities, he has something to be proud of; he holds the record for being the fastest speeder ever caught in Britain. After being caught in a random speed check, Brady pleaded guilty to driving at 172 mph in his Porsche 911 Turbo.
In a court appearance at Oxford Crown Court, Tim Brady pleaded guilty to one of the two counts of dangerous driving. He resigned from his job at a car lease firm days after the police caught him.
The previous record was held by car dealer Jason McAllister, who was caught doing 156 mph in his BMW M3 in Scotland. McAllister was sentenced to five months in jail. Brady hears his sentence next month.
